In order to meet the harsh requirements of hardware-in-the-loop simulation, external signals must be rapidly transported by the data acquisition card, so we have developed one system which is based on PCI Express interface to acquire data. This data acquisition system has a lot of unexampled advantage, such as high speed of data transmission, easy extension and so on. This article introduced the hardware architecture of data acquisition card briefly, then gives the analysis on the main steps of the developing drive for PCI Express device under QNX Real Time Operation System and the implementation of DMA data transmission in detail. This method has been tested by experiments, and the result shows that the system is stable and reliable; the device driver program we have developed can realize high-speed data transmission completely.
