To assess the quality characteristics of resistance to handling and transportation of briquettes, experiments were determined by three technological characteristics: range of crushing, resistance to cracking and crushing resistance. For turning in the form of small briquettes and powdery waste from steel industries, energy and mining, waste has considered the following: electric plant dust, aglomeration furnace sludge, tunder and as a binder: lime, bentonite, cement. Briquetting is the process of transformation of small and powdery materials (ore, waste grain in 8mm) into pieces of fixed shape (cylindrical, prismatic) by pressing method of reaching pieces of ore oval, spherical or rectangular, from dust as a result of pressing operations on specialized equipment, followed by a drying - roasting process to increase their mechanical characteristics.
