摘要

A novel 3D network Zn(II) complex material has been synthesized in CH_3CH_2OH solvent, and characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectra, molar conductivity, thermal analysis and X-ray crystal structure determination. The results show that that each Zn(II) ion is coordinated with two nitrogen atoms from 4,4'-bipyridine, four oxygen atoms from water molecules, forming a distorted octahedral coordination geometry. The compound formed 3D network structure through intermolecular and intermolecular hydrogen bonds and π-π interaction of pyridine rings. The antibacterial activity of the Zn(II) complex material also was investigated.
