Advantages in human resources become source of enterprises' sustainable competitive advantages, starred hotels in Linyi city as small and medium enterprises have the phenomenon of loss of human resources same with other hotels in china, which is hindering the health development of the local hotel industry. By analyzing the result of investigation to sample hotel, we found the major factors to cause the loss of hotel human resources, such as low salary of employees, lack of development space for employees, inhuman management pattern, lack of human resources in hotel industry, and so on. So we suggest that the starred hotel in Linyi city could reduce the loss rate To promote the healthy development of the hospitality industry though increasing salary of employees, establishing the image of hotel industry, carrying out humanistic management measure, etc.
