About 2MW PV system has been constructedin Hokuto to verify grid stabilization with a large-scale PVsystem. The large-scale power conditioning system (PCS) of400kW has been developed to connect to an existing extra-high voltage AC grid smoothly. In this paper, the outlineand the development target of the Hokuto Mega-solar.project are introduced, especially focusing the developmentof PCS. And some results provided so far are discussed.
