In this paper, we measured the dyeing rate, adsorption isotherm and build up of CI Disperse Blue 56 on PU microfiber synthetic leather substrate. The kinetic results show that PU microfiber synthetic leather substrate takes up dyes considerably earlier and faster. The dyeing process should be strictly controlled. The thermodynamic analysis shows that the adsorption isotherm of PU microfiber synthetic leather substrate presents Nemst-Langmuir dual sorption model. The build up property of CI Disperse Blue 56 on PU microfiber synthetic leather substrate is excellent.
