The Modern astronomic theory of the Milky Way Galaxy is called the "density wave theory." The theory is used to attempt to explain geological catastrophes and paleontological records. Coincidentally, although still disputably, each time the solat system enters into the spiral arms, events happen. The Earth is heated up while-traversing the spiral arms, and the warmed climate reaches, its climax at the end of a traverse. Calculations reveal that, the spiral arms exert an influence on the Earth and the solar system, which is astronomically slight but biologically considerable. Energy' transfer occurs at the spiral arms' gravitational field, finally decreasing the Earth's mechanical energy and narrowing the Earth-Sun, distance. Research on lunar vestiges and craters is under way.
