The study of physical rehabilitation outcome in the eldery patient with knee ostheoarthritis during 2006-2008

摘要

The bone articulatory ageing is part of the total normal morpho-functional changes of the elder persons. It is characterized by a biologic involution at the level of the conjunctive tissue of the locomotive apparatus qualitative and quantitative.From the point of view of quantity, the ageing begins from the second decade of life by decreasing of the bone tissue. The men loose more quantity of bone tissue than women.From the point of view of quality the bone structure is modified irreversible by the senile osteoporosis. The cause of the rheumatic affections are the injuries that appear at the level of the articulations which are characterized by the deterioration of the articulary cartilage, the increase of the calcified layer of the cartilage at the level of the articulary surfaces and the appearance of osteophytes. This type of rheumatism interests especially the solicited articulations from the mechanical point of view, namely the knee but can be initiated by the repeated trauma or microtrauma at this level.
