Optimal Selection of Contractor Unit by Value Engineering

摘要

According to the fundamental principles of value engineering and the rules of bid evaluation, this paper established a new evaluation model to carry out value analysis on bid evaluation process. And through the calculation of the functional, cost and the value coefficient, this approach provides a strong scientific basis to optimal selection of contractor unit for the owners by bidding. Furthermore, the paper verifies the advantages and practicability of the method by analyzing an actual project case of value engineering bid evaluation.
