According to the water quality monitoring data for Bashang section of Huangbizhuang reservoir conveying water for South-North Water Transfer Project from 2006 to 2009, individual evaluation, quarterly evaluation and overall merit were employed for water environmental quality evaluation with visualize classification on the ground of water quality standard classification, theresults indicated most of individual evaluation indexes were within class I or II and the indexes of quarterly evaluation and overall merit were with class ' which the third quarterly evaluation index was higher than that of the other three quarters, thus overall water quality was good enough for satisfying water quality requirements for supplying of South-North Water Transfer Project.
