摘要

The analysis of built patrimony has, for now more than a century, set new paradigms of architectural data and knowledge. Investigating on it means producing descriptions of dimensionnal aspects along with cultural, historical aspects of the data needing representation. Therefore the main purpose of the PARIOS survey process will be integrating architectural knowledge and a photogrammetry, the knowledge representation and the imagery fields together. We focus our activity on three research guidelines: (1) Knowledge representation (on related topics) using object oriented programming. (2) Computational model of the comparisons between the theoretical predefined architectural models and their counterpart:the actual survey. (3) Deductive mechanisms using predefined typo-morphological definitions and rules in order to re-create virtual could have been buildings illustrating archeological or historical hypothesis. The Paris application is developped on a Silicon Graphics indigo 2, using the C++ Object-Oriented programming language. The graphic results are shown using the POV raytracing tool, AutoCAD software or INCA (an extension of the Silicon Graphics Library elaborated by GAMSAU). This paper presents our experimental measurement process, and an introduction, step by step, to the theoretical models (architectural and geometrical) we have been lead to define.
