摘要

Heavy metal contamination is wide spread among the soils. Such soils are often used for plant cultivation, while the plant production may be dangerous for people or animals as consumers in food chain. Addition of biomass in soils as compost often improves it state and conditions. In our experiments we studied the effect of compost incorporation in heavy metal contaminated soil on various parameters, that describes plant health and on accumulation of such metals in spinach plants. Generally, compost conducted to enhanced microbial activity expressed as soil respiration and β-glucosidase activity, while mobile heavy metals' concentrations were not influenced significantly by the compost during the course of experiment. In experiment with spinach cultivation in contaminated soil was observed improved spinach biomass in the treatments with compost, especially in higher compost concentration. Additional positive effect was that accumulated Cd in leaves was significantly decreased with 40% and 65% comparing to the control, in both treatments with different compost concentrations.
