This paper presents a current / power control methodology for a fuel cell power converter, the main aim being to eliminate low frequency ripple currents drawn from the fuel cell, and reduce the high frequency ripple. Therefore, the fuel cell can be operated safely, and the mass and volume of the reactive components of the switching power converter, can be reduced.
