Recycling industrial wastes into valuable products is becoming a leading tide. Iron and steel slags, fly ash and coal waste are main industrial wastes generated in china. To use these three kinds of wastes effectively, the current technologies for reprocessing and recycling these wastes into coo-building materials are reviewed, such as preparing steel-slag-ement, slag-cement or high performance concrete, utilizing fly ash to manufacture fly-ash-cement or low- heat-cement, removing carbon remains from fly ash and fine comminuting fly ash, calcining coal waste into kaolin and meta-kaolin with suspension technology, and preparing clinkerless alkali-activated geopolymers with slag powder, fly ash and meta-kaolin.
