摘要

Starting from 1999 a new reference system MOLDREF99 based on the ETRS89 and ITRS97 was established in Moldova. The realization of MOLDREF99 is the national GPS Network creation with density about 1 point per 15 km2 (see figure 1,2). However a densityl point per 15 km2 is insufficient for some GPS applications. In order to provide positioning services the decision of creating Moldavian Positioning System (MOLPOS) was adopted by Land Relation and Cadastre Agency. For the beginning, Moldova needs 5 CORS stations with ～ 70 km spacing in order to organize the differential GPS for navigation and real time kinematics using RTK/VRS methods.
