摘要

It is now well established that ultrafine particulates, including aggregated nanoparticulates in the air, constitute an important risk factor for various adverse effects related to pulmonary and cardiovascular diseases in particular, while cancer and mortality are also included, especially in the long term. The mechanisms of actions of nanoparticulate materials are generally thought to involve inflammation and oxidative stress which ultimately damage DNA.
