A combinatorial chemistry method has been applied to search for highly efficient and thermal stable phosphors for LEDs. As for (Y_(2-x)Eu_xBi_y)O) system, the optima composition (x = 0.16-0.18, y = 0.08-0.10) with high efficiency was achieved. As for K(Sr_(1-x-y))PO_4:Tb_x~(3+),Eu_y~(2+) system, two optima compositions were obtained to be KSr_(0.93)PO4:Tb_(0.07)~(3+)(green) and KSr_(0.995)PO_4:Eu_(0.oo5)~(2+) (blue).
