The purpose of this study is to present the role of the National Metrology Institute of Brazil (Inmetro) in the scope of strengthening food safety and nutritional measurements for food safety with special emphasis on the activities carried out by the WTO/TBT Brazilian Enquiry Point located at Inmetro.
