Transparent life cycle is proving most valuable inside corporations to evolve change. It is important for Associations to build databases that are transparent, so that the cost is lower for individual corporations for 90% of the lci information. This is achieved by establishing representative products. It provides a visible science base for environmental improvements and claims. It is information that can be provided to customers since it is largely representative. That going forward the current CCACTI investment can help other Associations to build on these to achieve their databases.
