A Study on Building Planning of U-School for Ubiquitous Learning Environments

摘要

We describe a building planning of U-School system that aims to utilize heterogeneous educational contents and support user-centric ubiquitous learning services. The U-school system includes discovering and providing educational contents and services, supporting context-aware service, and managing the educational contents and services by using the middleware. Especially, in order to support the sharing of heterogeneous educational contents and the context-aware information, we assert the introduction of the semantic web and ontology technologies in designing the middleware. We also describe relevant context-aware service to our scenario that can support a user-centric learning service.
