Merging and aligning business rules sets using Semantic Web techniques SWWS'07

摘要

Business rules define and constrains business processes in enterprizes. Therefore, many business-governing rules have to be implemented in business-supporting applications, in order to reflect the real business environment. In rule bases systems, merging or aligning such system have been and still is a big problem because rules come from different sources and is not under control of person doing the merge or align. The aim of this paper is to give the way to semi-automatically merge and align business rules by combining Model Driven Architecture and the Semantic Web using Ontology Definition Meta-model.
