Evaluation and Feasibility Assessment of Green Roofs

摘要

The green roof technology is emerging as a potential for harvesting the rainwater in a better way and also to cut short the expenditure for the air-conditioning the rooms. In this paper the authors tried to give an over view of the technology for different purposes and various types of buildings. It can be concluded that by adopting this technology one can reduce the pollution level in that zone and also can increase the life span of the building roof. More over the rainwater can be utilized completely.
