On the first Beijing BRT line, there are already more than 40 Huanghai 12m low-entry city buses running. On the bidding held by Beijing Public Transport Holding in April 2005, Huanghai won the first place in 9 types out of 13 and got order of 1,056 city buses and 100 chassis. In 2006 Beijing purchased 3,000 new buses, 995 of which are Hunghai 12m low-floor and 18m articulated buses. Now on Chang'an street, the most important one in China, there are more than 400 Huanghai buses running.
