In daily production of modern large-scale blast furnace, reasonable burden profile by charged burden distribution is the guarantee for rational gas distribution and stable furnace condition. Reasonable burden profile lay fine foundation for reasonable distribution of ore to coke ratio, also distribution of ore to coke ratio is a crucial factor of gas distribution in furnace, chemical reaction, heat, mass, momentum transfer and stable production of the blast furnace. As a closed system, burden distribution profile cannot be monitored. It is subjective to select operation system by infrared camera technology and practical experience. Mathematical simulation model for bell-less top of blast furnace were built based on the study of burden flow, profile formation mechanism and experts experience, which could be used to predict real-time burden distribution profile and distribution of ore to coke ratio, optimize operation system and make great significance for efficient utilization of gas and stable production.
