摘要

The aim of this project is to design, implement, test and evaluate a speech user-interface which will make performing many computer-based tasks, including using web-based applications easier through spoken commands by using and extending existing technologies. This paper will focus on designing and implementing a system for mathematicians, engineers and scientists, including lecturers, teachers, researchers and students who have a reasonable knowledge of mathematics and mathematical notation, to enable them to dictate mathematical expressions and choose their desired form of output. This builds on previous work carried at Kingston University.
