From the products of fluorination of [60]fullerene with M11F3 at 485 °C/ 0.005 mBar, we have isolated C60F26, C6dF28, C60F30 and C60F22. All four compounds have been characterised by El mass spectrometry, and the first two have been further characterised by both ID and 2D COSY 19F NMR spectroscopy, showing them to have Cs and Ci symmetry respectively; their structures have been conjectured. C60F22 has a unique 19F NMR spectrum showing it to be a difluoro derivative of C60F20 'Saturnene'.
