摘要

Platelet surface morphology change and platelet aggregation were investigated by SFM after adhesion events to mica and after addition of adenosine diphosphate (ADP) alone and ADP with H_(2)O_(2). Activated platelets release biologically active compounds, which can recruit both additional platelets and other blood cells (leucocytes, red blood cells) into a growing thrombus. The complex structure of thrombus was visualized with SFM.
