Sensing property of SmFe_1-xCo_xO_3(x=0-1.0) semiconducting materials prepared by the thermal decomposition of Sm[Fe_1-xCo_x(CN)_6]·nH_2O was examined wife. 0.4ppm O3 and lOppm NO2 in air. The conductivity of the sensor elements in air was remarkably increased with increase in x value for the SmFej.-xCoxO3 system. Operating temperature for the measurable maximum sensitivity could be lowered by an increase in x value. In particular, the sensitivity for 0.4ppm O3 was able to be measured at room temperature.
