Computer-Based Automation in Medicine and Proposed Methodology and Component-Based Architecture of a Computer-Assisted Posting and Processing of Medical Billing Claims

The developed automated medical claim processing system performs data receipt, processing, formatting, prioritization and routing. It enables new technologies and enhances functionality. This article gives a description of the developed information system and its design. The developed information system relates generally to computer-automated data processing, but more particularly to computer-automated posting and processing of medical billing claims.
