Precise measurement of the positive muon lifetime at the RIKEN-RAL muon facility

The positive muon lifetime have been precisely measured at the RIKEN-RAL muon facility. We developed a new method to realize a higher data accumulation rate with a strong pulsed beam. The data taking have already been finished and about 10~(10) decay events were accumulated. The off-line analysis is now proceeding by comparing with results obtained by a Monte Carlo simulation.
