India's Iron Ore Industry in the Context of China's Steel Industry Development

The growing Chinese demand for iron ore, in fact, opens up huge investment opportunities in India. It will be making a lot of business sense to the Indian companies already in the mining and selling of iron ore to establish long term relationship with their Chinese customers. This will provide stability to the businesses of both the parties. The Chinese steel companies can do their bit by becoming a stakeholder in iron ore mining, transportation and shipping. They may, along with their Indian business counterparts, develop dedicated ports. In the long run, it is all a win-win game for both China and India.
