^7fIn the compounded color and color concentrate industries,color matching methods are under some form of development by every active player in the industry.Color matching determines success or failure in the marketplace-the rate at which it can be accomplished and the quality and economics of the match,for the most part,determines the success of the business.This paper discusses a new way to look at color matching through improved methods and simple to use,user interfaces.This technology allows a technically competent technician to perform as a master color matcher in only a few weeks.Needless shipping of physical standards and verification samples can be significantly reduced.Color match turnaround times can be reduced to minutes from hours or days.
