摘要

GC/MS has finally evolved from large room filling piles of metal to fully functional field-portable systems. Analysis is now performed where it is needed and where it can be useful for decision making in the field. This paper will present proven approaches for real time monitoring during investigation and remediation activities. All aspects of fence line, off site receptor, worker safety/PPE decisions, soil, water and soil gas analysis will be presented. Field-Portable GC/MS gives Project Managers the ability to make high quality, real time decisions about volatile organic compounds on their site.
