The SR-T Series of brominated epoxy flame-retardants has excellent compatibility with PBT resin,leading to its widerspred use in flame-retardant PBT resin used in electronic components such as relays and connectors.Furthermore,grades which emit little gas have come to be used more and more in areas such as relay switches where there are concerns about poor connection through long-term usage.In recent years,there has been significant growth in the field of IT equipment,with demand also increasing greatly for flame-retardant PBT resin in modible phones,home computer games and other areas,in addition to personal computers.Herein are presented the current circumstances regarding such growth,and the superb characteristics of the brominated epoxy flame-retardant SR-T Series when used as PBT resin flame-retardant.
