Nature as a Model for New Concepts in Supramolecular Polymer Chemistry(Abstract)

摘要

Our laboratory is involved in the use of Nature as a model for the elaboration of new concepts at the interface between organic, supramolecular and polymer chemistry. In this lecture we will discuss the most recent advances from our laboratory in the field of supramolecular polymer chemistry. The scope and the limitations of the current strategies available to mimic biological structures and functions will be critically analyzed. New concepts required to achieve the ultimate goal of polymer chemistry will be summarized.
