摘要

The main factors of the strong variability of the optical properties of atmospheric soot are thought to be the flaky "fractal-like" structure of soot clusters and their ageing during the interaction with atmospheric water-containing systems. The laboratory experiment, simulating the soot behavior in water vapour environment is described in this report. The presented results indicate, that the structural changes of soot clusters caused by interaction with water vapor result in significant altering of specific extinction cross-section and the shape of phase function.
