Application and Development of Soilnail and Anchor Rope Support Techniques

This paper summarizes the technique characteristic advantage and safety character of the soilnail support technique systematically and gives the support principles and engineering examples about deep foundation pit site support with high water level; drift sand and silt layer support; mould panel wall support; collapse support. Also, it summarizes the development of soilnail compound support in recent years and gives the conditions of application and successful examples of soilnail combined with other support techniques. We applied prestressed anchor rope support technique to sideslope support and researched some new techniques, such as crevice layer cross-over; reinforced concrete wall cross-over; splitting tension technology; tension operation with large tonnage. All projects achieved good result.
