摘要

This paper presents the results of laboratory experiments designed to quantify human performance in dynamic postural orientation tasks. The experiments also consider the effects of cue delays in human response to potential control errors during task performance. The results obtained with compensatory tracking tasks show that a cue delay time of 4 seconds provides a minimum operator reaction to visual signals, while a cue delay of 10 seconds provides a minimum reaction to auditory signals. We also obtained postural orientation positions in which humans provide their "best" response to task signals and the corresponding position for task control.
