Fct Haulage at Marissa Mine Dave Garbacz and Terry Hird

It is a pleasure to be here today and to be a part of this session of the 1999 Illinois Mining Institute. The format for the presentation today will be to look at the FCT through the eyes of the operation, basically looking at the production potential, mining methods and machine improvements throughout the years. Dave Garbacz will finish the presentation presenting Joy's view of future FCT's and their expectations. The FCT has been in production in some form or fashion since 1982. We will basically concentrate on the use of FCT's at the Marissa Mine and, hopefully, give you an idea of what can be expected in the future.
