Latest development on homologation systems in China, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Argentina and Chile

摘要

The automotive industry is still facing challenges regarding the development of vehicles that fulfil mandatory requirements worldwide. Even though WP 29 is playing a major role in harmonizing automotive technical requirements at international level and the governments have realized about the need of simplifying the regulations scenario, the current situation is still far from fully harmonization. The aim is to present the current situation about homologation systems of those countries and compare them to European homologation procedure.
