A framework of a virtual mirror system-A facial expression training system using facial image processing technique

摘要

A Framwork of facial expression training system, a "Virtual Mirror", is described. This system utilizes positive physiological and psychological effects on human body caused by smiling. To make good use of this effect, we apply image processing technique to captured facial images and display processed ones on a display as virtually mirrored images. These technique is composed of setting of idealistic facial expressions by clustering of facial images. This system helps users to smile naturally by emphasis of facial images based on that clustering.
