New progress in plant diagnosis engineering--distributed monitoring network and remote diagnosis system

Using the modern information science and knowledge engineering to achieve the predictive maintenance is one of the important way to reduce the production cost in the process industries. The constitution, function and their development prospects of the DM-NT(Distributed Monitoring Network) and the RD-ES (Remote Diagnosis System) are outlined in this paper.
