摘要

The time-domain boundary element analysis has been attempted for investigating the displacement and stress in an elastic-viscoelastic thin-walled compound cylinder in a radial transient temperature field. A subdomain technique has been employed and thermorheologically simple material behavior for viscoelastic zone has been assumed. Following an exposition of the boundary integral formulation, the numerical results of two example problems are presented.
