Throughout history, literature has been a means of experiencing and learning about particularterritories. The onset of new technologies has completely changed the way in which informationspreads, including literary information. This article deals with the work of a team of professionals of theUniversity of Vic-Central University of Catalonia (UVic-UCC) in a project entitled Endrets. GeografiaLiteraria dels Pa?sos Catalans (Localities: A literary geography of the Catalan territories). This is aresearch project designed to be published in 11 volumes -of which six have appeared up to thepresent, the work of LlorenC Soldevila- and which aims to offer new ways of approaching the cultureand the territory through literature. It is an encyclopedic project being developed with the support of ateam of lecturers, students and professionals and whose objective is to combine literature, places andauthors with information and communication technologies. The project aims to retrieve and registermemory through the evocation of places, houses, monuments, historical buildings and the like thathave been points of special interest for Catalan writers throughout the regions, cities and towns ofCatalonia. It is conceived as an experience that involves various media and platforms inside andoutside the classroom. Apart from teaching proposals, the 'literary routes' are conceived as a series ofphysical activities for pupils, which provide not only knowledge, but communicate attitudes, values,sentiments, beliefs and ways of perceiving and understanding situations.
