With the new developments in biomedical engineering and information and communicationstechnology raised the needs of training on modern aspects of computer assisted surgery and newsurgical techniques and implant models. In this paper, a European project on transfer of innovativeapproach and courses for training of medicine professionals (residents, surgeons) and engineersinvolved in implants development and manufacturing and disseminating the new approaches todiagnosis (image processing and analysis) and in orthopaedic surgery is presented.
