For the time being, lifelong learning is still a challenge for universities. Debate and reflection onprospects and modalities that could help to improve the performance of professionals in education ispromoted.The main purpose of this paper is to provide some reflections on the blended learning experienceconducted at UAB in collaboration with OEI, seeking connections and variations with similarexperiences organized by the Research Group EDO (http://edo. uab.es). The reference experiencewas carried out within 2010 -2011 school year and was targeted at heads of national and LatinAmerican countries.
