This study focuses on international development cooperation (IDC) between Portuguese Higher Education Institutions and Portuguese speaking countries from the African, Caribbean & Pacific (ACP) region (Angola, Cape Verde, Guinea Bissau, Mozambique, Sao Tome and Principe and East Timor). Within this framework, the poster presents and problematize a global scenario of Portuguese development cooperation in the domain of Science Education (2000-2015). The discussion is sustained on (i) content analysis of 189 protocols established between Portuguese public universities (PPU) and institutions from the partner countries and (ii) 79 questionnaires and 14 semi-structured interview transcripts to different stakeholders associated to ICP in Science Education. Specific recommendations are delineated based on the research results envisaging a more integrative vision of ICD.
