摘要

The results are presented of TsAGI's experimental investigations of strength, fatigue and crack growth resistance of the state-of-the-art enhanced Al-alloys developed at VIAM (Russia) and ALCOA (USA). The experimental data were obtained in the course of testing the standard specimens with use of electro-hydraulic machines of MTS firm (USA), Instron (Great Britain) and Schenk (FRG). The characteristics of fatigue cracks growth rate and the R-curves were estimated based on ASTM standards (USA). The tested specimens were cut out of semi-products manufactured by series technologies.
