Driving Assistance and Warning System on Android

摘要

Driving assistance and warning system is an application to increase safety for drivers. The application runs on smartphones based on the Android operating system. Smartphone camera record video sequences, then simulate virtual lane line and detect front vehicles. System analysis vehicles position and case of lane departure. In case car sways or departure lane, that is not for overtaking another car or turning purposes, the auditory alert and pictogram are activated. Moreover, the front vehicles are detected and then alert when object is in awareness area. These detection and warning system support the drivers for safety driving.
