Implementation of calculation of strength value For crater detection in FPGA

摘要

We propose a method for detecting craters from the image of the lunar surface captured by the small space probe. We use PCA to detect craters. After that, we implement the method to detect craters in FPGA. This paper compares processing speed that is spend by calculation of strength value in generic computer and FPGA.
